Wine Critic Review: "Straw color. Aromas of canned pineapple, pickled ginger, lemon verbena and green mango, and white and yellow flowers with an tangy, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a tingling, delightful, medium-length canned pineapple, clover honey, and poached pear finish. Racy acidity and nice spectrum of fruits to balance with the lightly candied sweetness; a quintessential off-dry Riesling." References: From page 158 of Wine Folly, Riesling has notes of lime, green apple, beeswax, jasmine, and petroleum. I felt I could taste lime and general floral notes which was probably jasmine. To be honest I don't know what petroleum would taste like so I don't know how to identify that.
My review: I liked this wine more than I thought I would. I got notes of orange, floral, lemon and a little vanilla. Overall, there was not a particularly strong flavor, it was just general sweet flavor. It was a sweet wine which I enjoyed. It was not dry which I also enjoyed. Overall would drink again!
Barefoot is best, if you know what I mean!
